in php is there a redirect function that allow me to redirect to other pages.

header("Location: http://www.yoursite.com/newpage.php");

Note: should come in your script before anything (including white-space not within your <?php ... ?> tags) generates output to the browser, and to be HTTP 1.1 compatible you should always use a full URL.

And if your script absolutely has to output something before you decide to redirect, you can use output buffering:

I use ob_start() and ob_end_flush() all the time for situations like this.
