Finally!!! Windows users don't have just Firefox and Opera to choose from for standards. Safari is finally making its way over!!

After playing with it for like 20 minutes, takes some getting used to. Chrome-less window, no status bar at the bottom, seems a little laggy and slow, requires quicktime?

Ah well..... I'll still use Firefox as my primary browser 🙂

Yeah, it's definitely buggy--heck it was hacked within hours of its release due to bugginess. One I discovered:
If you have a multi-monitor setup, try maximizing the window in a non-primary screen. For me, it just vanishes 😃

At least netscrape isn't much of an isssue

Why would Safari be an issue coding for? If you code for Firefox, you've pretty much got Safari taken care of.

That would be a dream.

I already got hit pretty hard going from IE6 to IE7.

I dont' know why, but half my forms and submits just stopped working when people moved.

Part of my upgrade to PHP5 will be to redo all the code to ensure it works consistently across all platforms

nutscrape isn't so much of an issue, but they do have a new version coming out unfortunately :/

I've had some websites not working the same in both and I've seen many others not working in one.

Then if you bring JavaScript into it too, there are a few differences.

I installed a firefox plug-in to let me do that 😛

I'm quite liking Safari so far, it seems pretty good. Although, very buggy. Anybody else got dual monitors? It doesn't like them. Then there are all the interface quirks its caused by defying windows and doing its own interface.

You know what, with the legal battles Apple has had in the past, why would they come after PC users for using their software? I bet the lawyers will just change the EULA. Why would apple really chase after those they're trying to swoon? I see no issue with using it... I mean people have been using windows without activation for a while now.... should MS go after them? No, because they're just being locked into that product and will eventually have to purchase it.

haha, wow. I was only joking. The article was fairly light hearted too I believe. It was all a mess up by apple and the TAC.

I have. It breaks Google maps, hotmail and various other key websites. Having said that, it seems to be quite nice.

I don't understand why it breaks websites and say FF3 beta doesn't? Is it mostly nasty IE hacks backfiring?
