Getting the full domain name?

Is there a way to get the full domain name you are on?

The problem I have is I have a parked domain meaning domainname.ca and domainname.com are both the same. What I want to do is somehow tell which site the user is on the .ca or .com.

I am looking for something like the $PHP_SELF variable except it also gets the domain name.

If $PHP_SELF exists, you seriously need to consider turning off register_globals as it's a known security threat.

As to your question, try using $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'].
