heya - this is pretty off topic, but i thought im probably not the only one here with problems in that field: charter cable has been charging me pretty outrageous prices on their internet packages, at least compared to what new customers and other perople in more competitive areas pay. since i am having a hard time finding an alternative in my area, but im also so fed up with them by now that i really dont want to put up with their bs anymore, i wondered the following:
is there an online tool, which lets you punch in your street address and comes up with all the Broadband) isp's that serve this particular address? (cable or DSL i suppose would be best).
i yet have to track down such a tool and find it hard to believe that noone wrote something like that as of yet.
