Your preferred WYSIWYG?

I used fckeditor for a long while, but it's a pain to get implemented.
I've tried tiny_mce too, which is easy to install, but the free version has some limitations.

I just wanted to get an idea of what your preferred wysiwyg editor is.

TinyMCE for me as well, but only on a backend. I was using it for comments on my blog and didn't realize it was 208K. Soon as I found out, I deleted that plugin. But it works great for backend admin stuff.

innovastudio I like it a lot more than the other two. It looks awesome and it's extremely easy to customize. I added my own custom buttons, scripts, and rewrote the image and link chooser to be AJAX driven and integrated with my CMS that I was building.

It's not free, but it's only $69 for a royalty free license. You can put it into your apps and distribute, use on a single site, or multiple sites without paying more than $69.

BTW, this should probably be in the echo lounge.

I only use tinymce for the backend. For upload, I only allow (only need) in the backend admin too. I wrote my own php upload scripts. There are some great php upload class I can call up on, I just need to custom these php upload classes for my purpose.
