PostgreSQL CertCamp

Anybody think PostgreSQL's CertCamp, and the ensuing certification, is worthwhile? Wonder how much it costs...

It certainly looks to be a thorough grounding in the basics of pgsql.

If you've got the money, it looks like a pretty good deal.

I think I've probably been through most if it. But the certificate itself would probably be good to have, if anybody doubts my 1337 SK1LLZ. 😉

I emailed them for more info and it's $2500 for five days! Ouch. That's astronomical compared to college/university classes. Seems like all seminars are like that (though MS, to its credit, does offer free seminars). Think I'll just stick to self-study and college/university classes.

yeah, seems a bit much to me too. but imagine you're at a company where they're switching from oracle / mssql / mysql to postgresql and they wanted to bring you up to speed. That's nothing in that context.
