image generation - pie/bar graphs

Does anyone know what is the fastest way to generate pie/bar graphs? Is there some kind of a free library out there that will produce these graphs in the fastest way?

Thank you. I did search on line before I posted and I found plenty of libraries for graphs; however, I wanted to hear which approach will produce the fastest graphs.
