Connectin two drop down menus

I want to create to drop down menus where the second one will display options according to the option selected in the first one.

For example:
1st Drop down menu contains:
- Premiership
- Campionato
- Bundesliga
- La Liga

2nd Drop down menu should contain the teams of the championship selected fron the first drop down menu. Any ideas?

ajax would be the best way... i know thats not as explicative as you'd like

you would select from the first drop down have it recognize onChange() and have ajax call php and tell it what was selected, then have the results returned to the second drop down

you might think about using textareas instead of dropdowns tho... i see that more often than not

AJAX is (amongst others) the use of, php mysql and javascript.

It uses a dynamic menu using javascript, you just have to amend the options to your requirements

ok this looks fine but i need to extract the options from the database. is it possible to use PHP in the .js file?
