hey all,

i have a sports (hockey website). i currently track goalie playing time and am going to track player playing time.

right now for a goalie if they play say 59:38 (59 min, 38 sec) I always round to 60mins played then enter that in. what I am trying to do is go by actual playing time by not rounding them up.

so if a player plays 59:38 and 62:45 when added it should be 122:23 mins played

any ideas on how to do this..

One way is to convert both times to seconds, add, then convert back to minutes and seconds.
