php editor rapidphp, e-texteditor

for a long time i have used rapidphp 2007

i always believed it was a good product

until in a symfony screencast i saw some amazing features

after some digging i figured out it was textmate (mac)

the windows port e-texteditor looks pretty amazing, checkout the screencast on their site 🙂

apparently i should review my decision on a text editor 🙂

which one would you guys choose? (price does not really matter too much)

I gotta say, it's fairly impressive for being a beta right now. A few things are off (like when stuff is "bolded" it doesn't shift text to the right, but just overlaps it), and there aren't many preferences or ways to customize it, but it has potential. I'll stick with EditPlus for now, until e-texteditor surpasses EditPlus 😉

well I like my new editor (PSPad) but there are unacceptable parsing bugs that make my coding really painful so I'm moving back to Textpad.
