AJAX search using PHP for E-Commerce

I've made the AJAX search using PHP and XSLT, but it still unsatisfying..

do you have the alternative reference code on web, to learn another code to make AJAX search, and spesifically for e-commerce site, that after search is embeded
the button to "add to cart".
