ok, I'm going insane now. Please help if you can.
I am designing a client and admin account in php for a client of mine. She wants it tied in with her shopping cart (ie, the login/password for the shopping cart's database is the same login for ours)....her shopping cart (Click cart pro 5.1) is written in PERL using HCEMD5 for encrypt the passwords.
Problem is, of course, that I need my login script to produce the same encrypted results when someone logs in through our interface.
I managed to download a file HCEMD5.php which I believe is supposed to emulate the PERL version, but I have no idea how to use it.
Can someone please help! If I had any other alternative way of bringing the login process together easier, I would but I can't think of any other way.
