Whats the problem when ..

Hello forums !!
I am curious about some questions.
what happens when the session name and the $POST vars or $GET vars names are same.
ie

$_SESSION['sess_name'] = "xyz";
$_GET['sess_name'] = "abc" ;

nothing happens. The $SESSION['name'] stays the same value, even if there is a $GET['name']
