[HELP]session_start

every page i visit at my website i see that message:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at C:\AppServ\www\index.php:1) in C:\AppServ\www\index.php on line 3

and when i`m logged in into any account, when i click on another module i just log out... =(
what i have to do?

You have to start your session before anything is output to the screen (even whitespace). One way to get around this if refactoring your project is too much of a hassle is to use output buffering: ob_start() and ob_end_flush()...

You need to move your <script> tags after the session_start().

In the 1st case i can log in to my site, but when i click on any page im automatically logged out... at the 2nd case i cant even log in

Hmm, try this....

Just make sure to add ob_end_flush() at the end of your script or you won't see any output.

Using ob_start() when you have header problems doesn't fix the issue, rather it just adds server load to avoid fixing the issue.

Your first coding example in the post above will have more errors because you attempt to use header() functions within the code, yet once again you've outputted data before PHP gets there. The second coding snippet should work... just get rid of the ob_start() call and try that.
