[RESOLVED] Using an Operator for percentages

I came across a situation that I cannot figure out, the problem is I need to calculate a discount amount that contains a percentage...

For example, I need to find out what is 25% off of $450 is....

So with a caluculator I would just (times X)'s $450 X 25% and get 112.5 which I could then deduct from $450 and get my answer of $337.50

My question is, is there any way to do this calculation with any of the php operators? 😕 :rolleyes:

Yes. Notice that n 25% is n 0.25
