I am in the process of transferring my websites over from 1and1.com to downtownhosting. So far, I have transferred one over. The domain propagated appox. 30 hours ago and my client (website owner) was able to access the website and email fine all day yesterday and this morning. Then, all of a sudden he complained to me that he was no longer able to access his website nor email. I made him clear his files and also check it in both IE and Mozilla. Still nothing, just times out. I've checked it on both my computers and a friend's and it's coming up fine for me. I also tested his email on my computer and is working fine (we both use Outlook).
Why would he not be able to access the website when all other computers can?
BTW. the link to the website is http://designsearchassociates.com/index.htm.

Thanks for ANY help!!

To be honest, at first the website took ages to load. After it loaded, visiting other pages was normal. I have no idea what caused the huge lag in the first place, but perhaps your client experienced the same thing and mistook it for downtime.

nope, we've been at this for hours, trying to figure it out. It's not as simple as that.

        problem with his internet connection
maybe his ISP is not a friend of downtownhosting

This happened to me when I was using a crappy host. When I used a proxy it worked and when I didn't it said the page wasn't responding. What I think it is is to stop one user requesting too many scripts or something the site stops the ip viewing the site after they have used up so much bandwidth. This is just a theory but I think that may be why. Check all settings in the control panel you use and if there is nothing just use a proxy to access the site or request a new ip address by command line or just turn your router off and back on again. Should work.
