[RESOLVED] htaccess regex help please

I would like to use htacess to turn this
http://www.site.com/index.php?action=memberprofile&type=common&userid=184
into this
http://www.site.com/184/

and turn this

http://www.site.com/index.php?action=newmember&friendid=111
into this
http://www.site.com/newmember/111

I have no idea how to accomplish
