Hey guys,
Over the last few months, i've re-coded the backend and frontend of an Automotive Virtual Dealership script that i'm writing that I call "vLot" - short for virtual lot.
It's been tested, tried and works nicely. It's using the well known layout "Skidoo Too" by ruthsarian layouts which can be found here:
http://webhost.bridgew.edu/etribou/layouts/skidoo_too/index.html
The thing is, Since i've added the updates and modified the theme engine (only accessible by administrators, right now.. soon to be available w/the click of a button by any user!) - I haven't done much testing w/different browsers.
I would like to have a few members of this community volunteer to check out the website and make sure the present color scheme looks good, doesn't hurt your eyes and looks welcoming!
One of the biggest differences is the way that image uploads are being handled now.
There once was a time (2 years ago when I first starting building it), that images were uploaded and remained in an unmodified state on the filesystem. Then, when a thumbnail was requested/needed, I would load the full size image into a script, resize it on the fly and spit it out.
Now, I modify all images during the upload process. Which takes the full size images (usually about 600k each) and resize them to midsize images which brings them down to about 30k each. Then, I create thumbnails, and store them on the filesystem as well.
I only call dynamic images (right now...) when you're viewing a full ad. Needless to say, this has sped up the pages and lowered the transfer the site uses on a monthly basis quite a lot!
I'm open to all skepticism. If you would like to check out the website, the address is:

I would appreciate any feedback on how the site looks & feels with different web browsers & operating systems.
