I'm not sure this is legal, since my problem shows up on Mozilla and not IE and that usually means its wrong but I haven't found an answere yet and am hoping you guys know...
First what I want to do.
click on a link that takes you to my parts list page, highlights the <td>cell</td> by drawing a border around the cell and scrolling the part into view.
This is what I have so far, on the first page...
<a href=\"./catalog_list_all.php?$pnumber#$pnumber\">see Quick Reference List for pricing</a>
and a corresponding anchor on another...
<a name=\"$pnumber\"></a>
This anchor is in a relatively positioned div. sandwiched between a top and a bottom relatively positioned div. The top div being a menu, the middle the parts list and the bottom a search field.
The php script has no problem getting the server querry string and draws a border around the part's cell.
When I follow the link in IE, it works fine - the whole page stays in the browser window and the center div scrolls to the part and php highlights the part.
In Mozilla, the top of the page dissapears to the top of the middle div.
So, is this completely wrong?
Thanks, DC
btw, I'm still working the site on my IDE, so it's not posted yet, sorry.
