[RESOLVED] Strange headers not found problem

Hi folks,

I think this might have more to do with the filesystem on my computer than PHP itself, but here goes anyway.

I have 2 php scripts - when viewed in any text editor they both appear exactly identical

<?php session_start(); ?>

This appears to be the only content (i.e. no whitespace before or after this text).

So far, so good. But I'm getting the "headers not found" error with ONE of these and not the other. As I mentioned, I cant see any whitespace, new lines or anything else that shouldnt be there in either of these, although I notice the bad file is 3 bytes longer than the other.

Anyone seen this before? Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a BOM at the beginning that's throwing things off....

Save the not_working file as ANSI and things should be fine 😉
