A newbie needs a bit of help. Well, I'm new to setting up a MySQL server.
I've got a windoze box set up as a server running Apache/MySQL/PHP. Everything works fine locally run. But, when I try to access the MySQL from a remote server's web page, it times out and says "Lost connection to MySQL server during query".
I've tried what I think to be every possible configuration of the my.ini file (equivalent to my.cnf on Linux). Ideas?
