PHP6 forum ?

Hi,

Are there any plans to add a PHP6 forum soon (even though PHP6 documentation isn't out ?)

Personally, I felt that the PHP5 forum was not all that useful in the end. Much of what was posted there could have been in the existing forums, if only those who posted them had the sense to state that they were using PHP5 rather than PHP4.

Yes, I just looked at the first page, and 60% of the threads had been moved to other forums.

Perhaps if the description had said something more along the lines of "upgrading from PHP4 to PHP5" there wouldn't have been quite so many misdirected posts; a more explicit title to the forum as well.

I do reckon the PHP5 forum should be retired at the same time as PHP4.

Maybe we could just rename it to something like "PHP Upgrade Issues", and otherwise leave it as is?

Possibly, in which case the current Install forum should have its description changed. Of course, if we just did away with the PHP5 forum, then the Install forum could continue handling installation and upgrade questions.
