You should enable all errors and warnings. The above code looks like it's expecting a file to be uploaded via HTTP to it.

The above code is also completely devoid of any error checking, something you should be doing extensively in an image upload script.

Moreover, I fail to see why you would ever want an image upload handler to generate an image in its response.

I also recommend you stop using absolute paths in filenames - they will render your application extremely non-portable: how do you ever expect to deploy this application to a different (e.g. production) server?

See, what I am trying to do is create an image from a base image, ok, then, when a user uploads a picture, it places the uploaded picture onto the base picture. I need the uploaded picture to be resized at 291x359 pixels so it fits in the base image. The posted text is applied at 137, 28 coordinates.

Can you show me a code that will help accomplish this? Right now, it's very complex and I'm not sure what I'm doing anymore. I tried following this image manipulation tutorial and decided to change it around, but it got messed up.

OK scratch that idea. I just need a code that will take an uploaded picture, resize it to 291x359 pixels, and places it on an already-loaded image at coordinates 84,63.

Can somebody show me how to do that? Thanks.
