My goal is to sell downloadable eBooks. I need to know what the fastest and best way is to create a script for restrictng eBook access.
I would apprieciate any help I can get.

if it's downloadable, it needs to be able to protect itself. PHP cant do anything to a file once it's downloaded, if its viewable online only then you might be able to do something, how are these books stored?
You could lock the access to the download link?
