[RESOLVED] Non-English Characters in PHP

Hi.

I have started looking into PHP's multilingual support.

What I want to do is the following:

• use any type of English and non-English character in strings.

I started to go through a lot of information regarding this issue.

What I am mainly wondering is:

• (of course) the easiest way of implementing this!

• can it be done without changing settings in php.ini?

Any help regarding this issue would be very nice!

Eh...

I re-saved my PHP file as UTF-8 and now it supports some non-English characters.

I do not know if I can get East Asian symbols, but I am going yo give it a try.

Is that all you need to do? (Save the file as UTF-8?)
