Not sure if Mysql is installed correctly

Heya.

I'm kinda new to programing in php. I've been trying to install php Apache 2.0.59, php 5.2.3 and mysql. I followed the instructions from http://www.expertsrt.com/tutorials/Matt/install-apache.html#extras
and I think I did it correctly. The only problem is I'm not sure if I got the installation and setup of mysql verison 5 correctly.

When I load up my localhost to check the php info, I noticed I don't have any information containing mysql. Did I miss something? :bemused:

What operating system are you running?

Okay, did you uncomment the mysql extension dll in php.ini?

Did you use the zip or actual .exe installer from mySQL?

Did you restart apache after enabling the mysql extension in php.ini?

Doh!

Forgot to remove the ; from mysql.dll extension. Its working fine now.
