playing videos

Hi, I have a few small videos that i want to play on a web pages, they are wmv + mpg files, can this be done on the page where the user presses a play button...

I have all plugins and all other videos work so I don't think it's that 🙁

than restart firefox.

No, don't.

Firefox doesn't support ActiveX.

it must be a firefox bug, the move is in wmv format......

It's the HTML, it must be.

If i download the video to my desktop the open it in firefox it plays fine (mplayer plugin, looks fine) yet it won't embed.

anybody got any ideas? the html is pretty basic
