[RESOLVED] Form Help

Hello! I am writing an order form in php. I have 2 buttons on the form. One would be to calculate the order total that will be located at the bottom of the list of quantity boxes on the right hand side of the same page, and the other would be a submit button that would send the information to the script on the specified in the ACTION portion of the form. What kind of logic is required to perform this task? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The button to calculate totals would be better done in javascript, so it can show the totals on-screen to the customer before they submit.

Otherwise, if you don't want to use javascript, take out the first button and leave just the submit button.

On your processor page, have it total all the form values in PHP:

$totalPrice = $_POST['price1'] + $_POST['price2'] + $_POST['price3'];

and echo that $totalPrice out with a link to a confirm purchase page.

Thank you horizon for your response! I was able to find a javascript to take care of the calculations and also found a function to convert the value to currency. Thank you again for your help!
