Sorting based on Urgency

Hi all,
I'm looking for a quick pointer on how to get started on this little sorting script. I have 4 levels of Urgency in my program (Low, Medium, High, and Critical). I would like to be able to click on the Urgency link at the top and have PHP sort through them from 1-4 or 4-1. I know I need to put the urgency levels in an array I just don't really know how to implement that into the script or to refresh the page when the link is clicked and have the urgencies sorted. Thanks for getting me started!

You can sort the array with [man]usort/man and a suitable comparator function. However, are you retrieving from a database? If so, perhaps you could sort with the database engine instead of PHP.

I was planning on retrieving from a database. I'm just not sure how I can specify the different Urgencies in the MySQL query and have the sorted based on the importance. I'm thinking of putting the Urgencies in an array and numbering them like: Low-1, Medium-2, High-3, Critical-4. And then I guess put that into the query. Just not sure how to start the array or add it to the query.
