Kinda Confused

I have a table with event dates. I would like to create a page with checkboxes so the users can select each date they are available and have it write to another table. I am not sure how to get started populating the checkboxes (if this is even possible). Any suggestions would be very helpful.

what you have here is a standard many-to-many data relationship: multiple events that can be linked to multiple users. create a 3rd table that links events and users using the primary keys field from each table. this is a pretty standard way of handling many-to-many relationships.
