My debian linux box is always identifying itself verbosely in http headers and when errors (like 404 not found) appear. Something like this:
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 404

Apache/2.0.54 (Debian GNU/Linux) PHP/4.3.10-18 mod_ssl/2.0.54 OpenSSL/0.9.7e mod_perl/1.999.21 Perl/v5.8.4
How do I turn off all that ID stuff? I know it's possible to replace the 404 page with another one, but I have noticed that this same information (apache version, php version, etc.) also appear in http headers for each http request.
