I am receiving the error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/tpsonl2/public_html/calendar/mosaddphp/viewed_writer.php on line 19

When posting PHP code, please use the board's [PHP][/PHP] bbcode tags - it makes it much easier to read and analyze your code.

In fact, I suggest you edit your post above and add these tags, as I believe you'll see the error once you do (then again, your editor should have syntax highlighting built into it...). Double check your quotes (specifically the ones that need to be escaped).

this is what you have (using Brad's suggestion, I will use the [ PHP ] tags:

As you can see, you escape the first and second double-quotes, but not the next one(s).

So, try:

But, it is much, much easier to use single quotes in these cases me thinks.
