Concatenating form fields prior to post

Hello......yes I am a newbie....thanks in advance for any help.

I have 12 checkboxes....named box1, box2, etc

I would like to concatenate them into a pipe delimited field that I can post. I want the delimiters even if they are blank. The end result would be one field(box_data) that is posted that would be sort of as follows:

box1 value||box3 value|||box6 value| .......etc

I am needing this so I can post to Payflow Link with a USER field and then retrieve the value posted when Paypal posts back to my site.

You might want to use [man]implode/man.
