Help Displaying MySQL Database In Sorted Order

Hi,

Here's an example of my database

Key ID - Name - Amount
0 - Test - 865
1 - Blah - 2658
2 - Hello - 865
3 - Bye - 458

I would like to sort this database by the column Amount and echo the following:

Blah (2658)
Test (865)
Hello (865)
Bye (458)

If there's 2 of the same value's in "Amount" I don't care how it sorts it as long as it's in between the next highest Amount and the previous Lowest amount (as you can see above)

just add "SORT BY amount DESC" to the end of the query
DESC for descending or ASC for ascending
