[RESOLVED] How to get the latest entry

I need to get the latest entry into my db table based on the datetime stamp in the following format: 0000-00-00 00:00:00

I myust be having a mental block because all I can think of is running a loop, and setting limit to 1, which I understand is stupid... Brilliant suggestions welcome!

Perhaps your mental block involves ORDER BY?

No I got that... It works but via a loop. Can't I just jsut say something like
WHERE mydatetimestamp is "the latest"...? is there sucha thing in SQL?
