Validate Script!

Hi ppls!

I have made a small fully modded software for a group who is releasing a software.
But now i want to add a small thing to get more control over what kinda domains and so who are using my fully modded software. I have seen that many are downloading it and then remove the copyright and put thier own copyright there, For me thats thieft. anyway i dont know how to make this, i have just small ideas, but it couldn't be so hard.
What i want to add into functions.php or index.php in the root who are checking with a variable if validating is == yes then get example a random number $getrandomnumber. then it will load the whole site, but if it doesn't have the randomnumber/number and validate == no it will load a page there u need to fill in what domain you have your site on, what email u have, what your name is and then when press confirm it will send a email or something like that or registry in a db or a file on my server that that user has that domain, email ect ect.. When press confirm it will generate a random number and set into the functions or config that validate is yes and the random number is also stored. So it will not load the validate page again. I have a installer script and this validate will only show the first time the user is using the site, or everytime if they users hasn't validate the software. It should be also nice that they need to signup on example a site i have and creat an account and then he needs to use that login info to register the site. Thats not primary one, but it should be even more control of it.

Hope u understand what i mean and that hoply someone can help me with this small thing.

This is not a PHP installation or upgrade question, so it has been moved to General Help.

My suggestion is to use something like Zend Guard. If this is open source software, then just sue the copyright infringers if you are really so concerned.

Ok sry for posting in the wrong section mate.
Is Zend Gaurd open source? Seems that u must pay for it. Im just searching for something easy and free. Can't spend lot of money cuz im just a student. Its more like to have knowlage and control of what kinda urls and users who are using my software, not to supervise then all the time.

It is proprietary software. I believe ionCube is an alternative, but ionCube PHP Encoder is also proprietary although it is cheaper.

Im just searching for something easy and free. Can't spend lot of money cuz im just a student.

I do not know of any free and easy solution that works. Even Zend Guard and ionCube have had their weaknesses at some point or another.

Yea thats true, all software has their weekness. But just a free and easy script should be nice, cuz most of the softwares u need to pay for a license but theres also lot of open source softwares on the net. Don't know if there is any type of open source who is conserning validating ect ect.. A software im searching for.

My suggestion is for you to search around (as you have done) try to implement something and come back with question on specific problems with respect to design, security e.t.c that you most certainly will stumble upon.

Yea i was only searching for some ideas cuz i haven't any ideas at all. Im kinda blank on this things.. The PADL looks nice but i have NO idea to use it. 🙁
Maybe someone has experience of this and can supply some info about it?

I tried it and it works great, but the problem is now. I dont know how to use it in a good way, i know that it will generate a license key and store it in the db.
I dont know how to example redirect to a file if the license is invailde. Also how can i make so it will generate the code after they install the software. I dont get the point of it so well.
Hope someone can help me with this, making it on a good way.
Im just wanna intigrate so it will check if it has generated a license then if the license is active or if its invaild it will redirict to a page their they need to enter the vaild lisence. Also check if there is any upgrades or if the user has an experide license it will redirict to a page there u can see the license and the upgrade url and he will not have access to access the site cuz the license is experide.
Should be nice if someone could help and also make it so it will look litle nice, or tell me on a way how i can do it well.
