Page Cannot Be Refreshed

Hi all,

When I submit a form it goes to my index page, where I want it to be processed. However, if this index page is refreshed, I get the infamous "page cannot be refreshed error".

I've search around and can't find anything, so could anyone tell me if there's a way to remove this error by still using the POST method?

One thing you can do is to redirect to the next page after doing the POST submission. This way you will not get the error.

For eg. your post submission is to validate.php. once all the processing is done in that script you can redirect to another page (main.php).

The thing is I need something to be displayed on the main page (ie, success message). Without putting information in the URL, can this still be done with the method you mentioned?
