page fit to screen problem

Hi guyes,
Can anyone give me solution that : how all web pages will be fit in every size of screen (width & height). I mean, previous, i was using 15inch monitor. Then my web pages height/width was 100% fit to screen. but in 17 inch monitor, it is not fit. Itz looking shrinked. please see the attchment screen.html.
So, how can i solve it? please help...

I don't see any files attached...

You must have set all the width etc. on the web page as fixed values. For example 700px wide. If you do this, then somebody with a 15" monitor will have a smaller resolution than somebody with a 21" monitor. So, the higher the resolution the smaller it looks.

You would need to make all the sizes and so on relative, so make them a percentage or something. Depending how complicated your website is, it could take some time to do it.

Or you could just change your monitor resolution to what you had your 15" at 🙂

Hi, sorry that i forgot to give the attachment. But i think my problem is clear to you. Now i am changing height/width to 100% in every table of pages & itz working. But is it possible to set the value in 1 place (such as in template/CSS/index) & it will effect in every page?

hmm, not that i know of...

It's a fairly tedious and sometimes difficult task to do well.

Yes, you can specify widths of elements in CSS files and they will be used on pages where those CSS files are included.

Of course, if you're using tables to manage your layout instead of CSS then you've got a lot of work ahead of you.
