Printing from a browser

When I print anything from a browser I notice that the url path is included either on the top or bottom of the page.

Is there a way to stop this?

Not that I believe. What is printed in the header of the page (and the footer for that matter) is set by the browser as far as I know.

E.g. In Firefox if you go to File --> Page Setup... and then the tab "Margins / Header and Footer" you'll see the options to select different items to print.
