Getting parameter from an URL

Say we call http://domain.com/?food=chocolate

There's got to be a variable there somewhere named food whose content is chocolate.

I think it's get something.

I forget. Try to find on the net but couldn't find it.

Anyone knows how to extract parameter?

Yes, namely $GET['food']. You can also use $REQUEST['food']. Read the PHP manual concerning Predefined Variables.
