[RESOLVED] File upload - Mac / jpg issue

Not sure what's wrong here - basically have a file upload script that's been working fine, but a colleague has just been unable to upload a jpg on his Mac.

It's not the file, as it works fine on a PC.

The code looks like :

Any ideas why it should be fine on a PC, but not like it on a Mac?

a jpg can be some variants

Try adding one line
|| ($FILES["uploadFile"]["type"] == "image/pjpeg")
|| ($FILES["uploadFile"]["type"] == "image/jpeg")

He did not say what error message he got when trying?

It is this we are struggling with all day long here.
People that say 'not working'
without telling us the symptoms and how they found out it is not working.

'not working'
does not say a much ... to us it does not give the slightest clue ..
Does it?

Thank you - that was exactly it.

So I guess you did pretty well to figure it out without any clues. :p

"Please select a valid image file type. The library supports .jpg, .gif, and .png files."

was the error message, the symptom was that it wasn't working specifically on Macs, and we found this out when someone tried to upload an image on their mac.

Anyway - much appreciated - not all of us come from a coding background, but more a design background, and so sometimes stuff that's second nature to you guys isn't always to us.
