Hide table when not in use

Ay all, recently i created a directory (MOD: External link removed - no need for it) and i have asked on their "Support" forums with no reply if this can be done...

What I'd like to do.. is hide the table "Links" if there's none there to be shown instead of having "There are no links here" I myself don't know how to do this but what i have noticed is if you don't have any categories it doesn't show up the table... just wanting the same thing to happen with the links table... I'm using OpenLD btw

Any Ideas?

i mite re phase the question.. How do i set it do when there's no links the links table doesn't show like it dose with the categories?

That's in the old design, Try the default one instead.

Or probably, you have an old version of OpenLD. What's you version?

Been there and posted about that but not much help... all i want to know is how to hide the table when there's no links in it and show it when it finds links in the database.

I can't seem to follow the thread of what you're talking about - halojoy always jacks it up - but if you're looking to display/hide an element, you can do it with CSS and a Javascript or PHP toggle. Use a PHP check to see if the data you want is there, if it is, echo out the regular display mode, but if it's not there, set the style on the table to display: none;

In the quote above, you mention that the categories do not display if it is empty.

In the template HTML, look to see how the categories display section is handled to be shown/not shown, and then copy that method over to the links code and template.

That looks like the "Test", so I would guess in your template, if it doesn't receive the Links, it displays that message by default, otherwise the list. Seems you would need to modify the template to display nothing rather than the default "No links here" text.
