Alright then. I created a basic wedding website for when I got married it had the whole Registration/Confirmation email, RSVP for multiple events, and all that fun stuff that you would expect.
So now after being married for a few months I'm looking for a new project a little more difficult and I think I have found it. But I'm not sure if it's too over my head or maybe some of you may help me find out how to structure the project.
I used to play a BBS game called L.O.R.D (there is a web based version called LOGD Google it) and I loved it. I'd like to create a similar but with some updated twists which I'll incorporate once I get the basics down.
The main thing that I would like to incorporate would be multiple games. Meaning once you RSVP you can start a game and invite other players to play in your game. You would have the option to open the game to the public or keep it private, set it up as a 2, 10, 100, unlimited players game.
So basically, once this game code worked, there wouldn't be one big game, but an infinite number of games that would be started by users.
So my question is, after getting the basic game ready and setup, how hard would it be to incorporate something like setting up multiple separate games? game1, game2, game3 and have people limited to say 5 games.
I'm figuring that this would have to be incorporated in the design stage that it might be difficult to incorporate once the game is created.
OK, enough babbling, any suggestions, comments, hints?
