new to PHP/MYSQL

Hello everyone. New guy here looking for some insight and some help to create a php/ mysql web app that will keep information for a new myspace layout page we are launching. We have the layouts all complete with over 5000 designs.

i also run a site buuilt on php and msql. [link deleted -- MOD] Its just an online community from IPB. it was pretty easy to get up and running since they did all of the work for you.

what i am looking for is some help or direction on where to start to organize this. I am looking to have a backend db be able to display a thumbnail of a layout, a title, desc. and an area to copy the code for your page.

any ideas on where to start?

Read some of the articles around here.... pick up the book by Chris Shifflett called "Essential PHP Security" to help alleviate some security issues you'll most undoubtedly code into your scripts and not know it.

Then if you run into snags come here for help.
