write documentation for a project: any software?

just a quick question: is there any good software that would help me in writing the documentation for my website? (list of function used, the pages created, the site map, the coding conventions...)

this would greatly ease the maintenance job!

i am not a professional developer but i'd really like to make it right 🙂

You can also have a look at DokuWiki
which is popular, with many many features
