I really need Help

I have this assignment from school and any help would be appreciated.
I have to create a page where people can insert their names, date of birth and in what range they want to find a pen-friend. I don't have problem with the inserting and saving . But the next part is the problem. I have to create the next page so that it shows inserted data, people who are suitable to be your friends, people, who you are suitable to be a friend and people who match you (your age is in your range and their age is in your range).

I basicly know what i have to do but i cant put it down so that i would work.

Why dont you show some of the first part.
Where you have no big problems.

I have said this before, in forum:
- Abstract questions, will have hard to get any useful answers.
Possible a few reply with abstract thinkings into the sky ..

- Real life cases, with real examples and some real data/php code
will give you real answers with useful code.
