Relative path and secure server

Hello.

I am tried to use a secure relay (proxy) server to secure one webpage in my webshop system. Trouble all other webpages should not be processed on that relay server.

I use relative paths like:

<a href="index">index.php</a>

So when I browse my website e.g. www.mydomain.com my navigation looks like this:

Home | About us

The code:

<a href="index.php">Home</a> | <a href="about.php">About us</a>

So everything is fine and all clicks on links will stay on www.mydomain.com

Somewhere I have a checkout link

<a href="https://relay.somesecureserver.com/relay/relay.cgi/www.mydomain.com/checkout.php">Checkout</a>

Now the domain is no longer

www.mydomain.com

but

https://relay.somesecureserver.com/relay/relay.cgi/www.mydomain.com

So when clicking Home it stays on

https://relay.somesecureserver.com/relay/relay.cgi/www.mydomain.com

But I need it to go back to the original domain:

www.mydomain.com

I cannot make the path absolute because the secure server will warn me that there is unsecured data on the page.

Any ideas?

Sorry, my mistake. Had you mixed up with someone else that is having a similar problem.

Personally, I want that notification that I'm going back to an "unsecure" site. And it's something in the browser, not in the site. So you really have no control over it. If you want to get around this, put your entire site behind the SSL portion of your site, and do nothing outside of it.

The reason why I use both secure and unsecure servers is that my credit card processing provider have a SSL proxy server I need to use. I Only want/need to pass credit card + account info over their server. Rest should be on my own domain.

I found a solution though. When a visitor click any link on my site I do a check to see if the user is coming form a SSL server and redirects him/her.

I use this to redirect the page:
