[RESOLVED] Using HTML $message content in email

Can anyone help me out?
I'm trying to send html emails

I receive an email and the basic html is ok, such as making words bold, but none of the styling seems to work and the images are broken.

When I click on the broken image link at the top I get this error message '

Mail was unable to open the URL “x-msg://43//%22”. No associated application could be found.'

do you have your e-mail program set to receive HTML e-mails? Sounds like the problem may be in your e-mail settings and not what the code is generating.

I thought that too, but my email address can receive other html emails fine, and the problem still occurs when I try a different address

Can you echo your $letter variable to screen and post the results here ? Maybe there is a problem there...

It's ok, I went about it another way. I put all the style information in the $message

Then I can just type the rest into the textarea.
