Pre-built list of Interests

All, I have the array code built, somewhat, but does anyone know where I can get a prebuilt list of interests I can turn into checkboxes? I'm building some social networking features for a buddy of mine and so far have been unable to find such a list.

I know this isn't exactly a PHP question... yet. But once I get the list I'll more than likely be posting my lengthy function for review.

Nope, I don't know of one.... but maybe you could harvest a list off of MySpace or Facebook and use that as a base and customize it. Just Right Click and "View Source" to see their list 😉

I didn't see a list of common interests on MySpace or Facebook, both let you enter whatever you want.

Well, whatever other site you want to use as a template. Those are two of the biggest social networking sites I knew of. Take a look at Live Spaces or Yahoo! 360 or any other site.

Alternatively, you can just list the ones you can think of, and let others submit new categories to you (or add them via a form).
