Does anybody know how (if it's possible) I might go about connecting to a remote, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DB with PHP from a laptop running Mac OS X? I did some digging around and I've only seen solutions for Windows (i.e. http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread12530.html ) where the people had to change their registry and copy a couple of .dll files.
It would be sweet if someone knew how to do this because then I could work from home 🙂
Thanks Steve
You might be able to do that by
mysqli_connect("000.000.000.000", "your_user", "your_pass", "your_db") or die ("Sorry My Laptop Might Be Off, LOL");
Steve, I am trying to accomplish the same thing with my project. So far I have found this to be the only viable optionPear's MDB2 A.L.
Unfortunately I have yet to implement this solution and will not get a chance to try until Friday . . . . If anyone else has used this framework I would love to here about your experience.
Thank You, Ryan Smith.
